What Country Hosts The Most Migrants?

… drum roll, please….

According to the International Organization for Migration, it was the United States in 2005… with more than 3 times the second place nation (the former USSR, and that had more to do with the redefinition of borders than with the actual movement of people).

WHY do so many people come to OUR country?

For all the bad things we hear in the media from people in other countries as well as our own, it appears the U.S. is a very popular place! If our nation is as “evil” as we are so often accused of being, how can that be? After so many years, you’d think the word would be out and people would not only stop coming here… our own population would be fleeing to other countries.

But, no, our population keeps growing. And the country “exporting” the most people is China.

So, what should be believed? Actions or words? Facts or rhetoric?
